Steve has been doing a lot of aerial photography, especially with a drone.  The drone flies at 4oo’ or below, which results in more detail than can be seen via traditional aerial photography.
He also provided tips on shooting fireworks, since the Fourth of July holiday is only two days away.

  • First, find out where the fireworks are being shot from
  • Based on the place of origin, plan where you should set up to take the pictures
  • Use a tripod
  • Put on b shutter speed
  • F8 aperture works well
  • Use low ISO
  • When the fireworks are ignited, take the shot to get a picture as they explode
  • Take pictures early in the show to avoid smoke interference
