Melissa displayed a sample board, showing some of the custom cards she has created. She mentioned that like Dale Auer talked about last week her business has gone through a number of changes since its inception. She opened a retail boutique in Linglestown and also changed invitation-related processes.
Most of her business involves creating custom items like cards, invitations, etc. To simplify the process for potential buyers, she has created pricing packages. In addition to the retail boutique, she has an online presence at Etsy.
Additional items that might be of interest include:
- low volume orders are okay
- printing can be included via her working relationship with Heather Zielonis, our chapter’s printer category member
In response to a member’s question, she stated that the difference between custom and personaized is that custom is all developed from scratch, while personalized adds your data to an existing design.
