Glenn provided information about web-based applications he created.
In the first example, he created a web site allowing one company’s users scattered throughout Pennsylvania to order both general marketing materials and materials specific to the user’s location. After a 24 – 36 hour period which allows for modifications of the order, the printer receives an e-mail containing all orders within that timeframe. When the order is sent out by the printer, the order is updated online to allow the user to know the shipment has been sent.
In the other example Glenn created a web site allowing retirees of a Fortune 500 company to search for charities to donate a portion of their monthly retirement payment to.
He also sent an e-mail to chapter members with screenshots from several web sites he has completed.
